I voted this for game of the year and I honestly believe this game deserves it. I had some reservations about it since it was apparently the dev's first big full price game but I'm glad I was proven wrong. If you consider this game a souls-like, (even if there is no punishment for death like most of Fromsoft's other games) then there is by far my favourite Souls-like game that I have ever played. I believe it helped my mental health similar to how people like to say how Dark Souls cured their depression with my thoughts going from "I want to die" to "♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥! I think I'm going to beat him this time!" on some of the more difficult bosses (not that I died nearly as much as other people with most I died to a single boss (none of the more egregious people like to bring up) totalling up to 6 times. And the music? Here is a youtube like to a song that I listen to regularly long after finishing the game:
